Role and Scope of Position:
Responsible for working with Eversource's Massachusetts communities in supporting the development of company owned solar and storage projects. The Manager will coordinate all relevant community engagement activities, working with internal Eversource stakeholders as well as city and town representatives to support the identification of appropriately sited solar and storage projects that support the Commonwealth's clean energy goals while providing local resilience benefits. Will serve as the primary point of contact for partner communities and will work with identified communities throughout the full project lifecycle, from conceptualization to construction and ongoing operations. Primary activities and duties will include, but are not limited to, (i) organizing and conducting public community meetings, (ii) working with towns to develop project-level resilience strategies, (iii) briefing city and town officials on project development activities, and (iv) supporting Eversource colleagues in the development of filings before the Department of Public Utilities
Essential Functions:
Assists with the development and coordination of Eversource resilient solar projects in communities across Massachusetts in accordance with regulatory requirements. Serves as primary point of contact for Eversource solar project partner communities. Assists in the identification of potential site development opportunities Develops community resilience benefit strategies in cooperation with local governments Organizes community outreach events such as workshops. Designs appropriate reporting for both internal and external review of program results. Ensures compliance with state regulations and Company policies, changing operating procedures as necessary. Primary contact for state agencies for overall program development efforts. Interacts with communities and resolves concerns and complaints as necessary. Works across Eversource to facilitate the implementation of projects including working with real estate, regulatory, community relations, system planning, finance, and other teams to ensure cost effective and timely project implementation. Works with community stakeholders and partners across Eversource's territories to raise awareness of Eversource's clean energy efforts. Assists with development of customer education materials for participating communities. Fosters and supports the development of a company culture that promotes high satisfaction with our partner communities. Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
Requires working knowledge of clean energy policy and project development. Ability to use PC desktop applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Requires strong communication and interpersonal skill. Background in clean energy, energy resilience, community engagement and Environmental Justice strongly preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Policy, Financial, related discipline or equivalent experience. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) to twelve (12) years managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects Experience in solar industries preferred Licenses & Certifications:
None Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. Mental Aspects:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
