HVAC Dispatcher / Customer Service

Serves customers by scheduling and dispatching HVAC Technicians to install, service, start, maintain and repair commercial and residential Heating and Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems; maintaining records and coordinating with billing functions.
Duties:
Receive phone calls from customers and requests from other office personnel; notifying supervisor of extraordinary problems.
Produce call slips with a clear scope of service to be performed and/or details of problems.
Review site bin history, credit worthiness, and any relevant notes that have to be provided to the dispatched technician to aid in their service efforts.
Coordinate and dispatch daily work plan for technicians, contact customers, follow up on parts and materials ordered. Order parts as needed.
Match type of service required with technician's ability, zone location, duration of call, to maximize productivity, profitability and accuracy.
Maintain customer database. Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Coordinate and verify HVAC Technicians weekend and holiday on-call assignments.
Accomplishes customer service and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
