Client Services Manager Print

heClient Services Manager functions directly, as well as indirectly, through subordinate personnel as an interface between the company's production personnel and the customer to insure efficient production and a satisfactory final product.   The Client Services Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong, positive working relationship with each customer assigned, including co-workers and manufacturing personnel. Prompt and accurate response to customer. Correctly interprets customer instructions into plant orders for all departments. Creates job instructions (printing and mailing) via job ticket and is responsible for maintaining accuracy throughout job life cycle. Follows up on all production activities to insure a quality product at the expected cost/price. Informs the scheduling department of all key dates, such as materials due, desired out-date, and any activity that would delay work. Inform key personnel of commitments to customers. Keeps the account salesperson fully informed about meaningful customer actions and comments. Knows the credit status of each account for which he/she is responsible. Reviews and knows the quality of the first sample copies sent to the customer. Writes confirmation of prices for specific job changes and has all new job changes re-quoted. Informs customers of key shipments and follows up to verify arrivals. Able to read and understand estimates. Performs other duties as required.   EDUCATION, SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED College degree and/or equivalent work experience in print production with an understanding of press and bindery capabilities Experience in job planning and imposition a plus Ability to plan and create layouts using desktop planning tools helpful Ability to determine bindery trims and execute a job plan (with or without an estimate) for pre-press and press room a plus Highly organized with a strong attention to detail Ability to work in a face paced, deadline driven environment  Strong oral and written communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
